Primary Level students are able to participate in introductory play-based classes. Our class levels format provides pathways for our students to progress within our mixed-level classes. We are able to meet students where they are, while providing opportunities for them to engage in a holistic curriculum. Level 1 (must be 7 years old by 12/31 or 6 year olds placed by assessment)
Level 1 students are able to participate in elementary training of individual genres. Our class levels format provides pathways for our students to progress within our mixed-level classes. We are able to meet students where they are, while providing opportunities for them to engage in a holistic curriculum. New students age 7-10 with any/no prior experience
Classes for Level 1 Students Students must enroll in at least 2 Foundations classes. Either both on the same day or a combination of the Wednesday and Saturday classes.
Level 2 (must be 11 years old by 12/31 or 9-10 year olds placed by assessment)
Level 2 students are able to grasp formal dance training with sustained, multi-part combinations. Our class levels format provides pathways for our students to progress within our mixed-level classes. We are able to meet students where they are, while providing opportunities for them to engage in a holistic curriculum. New students age 9-10 placed by assessment
New students age 11+ with any/no prior experience
Classes for Level 2 Students It is recommended that Level 2 students take at least 2 classes per week, preferably on multiple days.
Modern Repertory: Thursdays 7:30-8:00, class ends at 8:30 in October and November for 11+
Technique Workshop: Saturdays 12:00-1:30 (This class includes aspects of modern, ballet, and anatomy and is designed to support the ballet and modern curricula. Students work on technique throughout the entire year, and it does not have a performance piece associated with it.)
Level 3 students are able to comprehend and execute intermediate/advanced dance skills. Our class levels format provides pathways for our students to progress within our mixed-level classes. We are able to meet students where they are, while providing opportunities for them to engage in a holistic curriculum. Our class levels format provides pathways for our students to progress within our mixed-level classes. We are able to meet students where they are, while providing opportunities for them to engage in a holistic curriculum.
