![]() The Enrichment Program provide an opportunity for students to not only learn physical material, but also fully develop their understanding of dance in the context of the world today. Enrichment topics include: anatomy and dance conditioning to support students in better understanding the mechanics of how their bodies work; dance history units that introduce the legacy of artists who have created our evolving art form, connecting the students to their dance ancestors; Laban Movement Analysis, a method and language for describing and interpreting movement; and dance communications workshops to increase the students’ skills in articulating what they do as dance artists.

![]() The National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHDSA) is led by the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO). With a mission to advance dance education in America, NDEO manages NHSDA as a tool to help schools and communities recognize outstanding artistic merit, leadership, and academic achievement. Membership in this national organization is not only a reward for the students’ fine work in our program, but also offers a vehicle to support and inspire rigorous pursuits through dance. The Fusionworks Chapter aims to give our dancers a voice in the programming within Fusionworks Dance Center, while producing projects and initiatives that increase dance awareness and experiences in the greater community.
