Fusionworks Dance Center has an opening for a jazz/tap teacher for the 2024-25 school year. We are seeking an enthusiastic and versatile teacher to join our faculty of passionate and welcoming artists. Our tap and jazz classes, ranging in age from 7-adult, are held at our dance studio in Lincoln, RI.
Our ideal instructor is comfortable teaching and choreographing for beginner jazz and tap classes (ages 7-9) that will fortify foundational skills and also leading students through a more formal, intermediate curriculum in our open-level classes (ages 10+) in a safe and encouraging environment. Candidates must be able to accommodate various levels of ability in a classroom.
Additional teaching and choreographic opportunities can become available, as well as opportunities for subbing and helping manage our National Honor Society, for additional income.
COMPENSATION Compensation is commensurate with teaching experience. The faculty of Fusionworks Dance Center also has access to Dancing Legacy programming including workshops, company classes, and enrichment activities.
